Overview of MBS Units

MBS started as a business in 1996 dealing with customers face to face. While we’ve evolved into an e-commerce platform to serve you better online, we recognise that many customers appreciate a personal service that buying on the internet lacks. We also recognise that many of our customers value our experience and look to us for advice.

We offer n-UVB Phototherapy equipment which will enable you to treat your condition at home. Our devices are designed & certified by  European Medical Device Manufacturers to offer the same treatment at home, in a clinic or hospital.

Critically, we only sell Certified Class IIa Medical Devices . This is now a legal requirement enforced by the MHRA, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency  which regulates medicines and medical devices for the protection of the public in the UK.

Warning – Buyer Beware – If you are not buying a Certified Medical Device you are probably buying a converted sunbed or an uncertified/untested cheap copy from a rogue trader. 

For your own safety, always check that the seller & manufacturer are registered with the MHRA – The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency which regulate medicines, & medical devices. Some of these illegal products do not even carry a CE or UKCA mark as a guarantee of their electrical safety let alone a Medical Device certificate.
