We will always do our best to help and provide pre-sales advice and post sales support.

Our helpline is open during normal office hours, this service is always available to you – before, during and after you make your decision to purchase a unit. We realise that this is a significant investment for you. It is important for you to make the right decision and buy the best unit for your condition in order to ensure the best treatment outcome.

HELP AND ADVICE IS JUST A PHONE CALL AWAY - 01925 694 280.

We would always advise that you consult with your Doctor or Dermatologist before and during your treatments. Do not take medical advice from anyone else; you may end up with an inferior product – most Doctors will only recommend Philips TL01 to treat psoriasis and vitiligo, and no other tube.

We are happy to offer our specialist product knowledge to help you choose the right unit for your condition. Our devices have helped many people to improve the quality of their lives – keeping their skin conditions under control with Narrowband UVB Light Therapy.

We guarantee Prompt confirmation of your order.

We guarantee that orders for hand held units, and tubes will be dispatched (fully insured) by carrier for delivery within 2-3 working days (maximum – normally delivered to the customer within 48 hrs of order palacement). Orders for larger units will be delivered by courier on a mutually agreed date. You will be contacted within 10 days of order purchase to arrange a convenient date/time for delivery.

We guarantee that if you wish to return the unit, for whatever reason, within 10 days after delivery we will refund your full purchase price without question as long as the unit is returned to us undamaged and unused – this is in addition to your legal rights.

We guarantee encrypted secure card payment system through Worldpay/Cardsave. We are certified by Worldpay as compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

We guarantee all our units contain genuine Philips TL01/PL01 UVB Narrowband Tubes as used in most hospitals. All our units are manufactured by Medical Device Manufacturers and all certified as Class II a medical devices as per EU Medical Devices Regulation (Regulation 2017/745) (EU MDR).

We guarantee that we are registered with the Office of Fair Trading and the F.C.A. and are authorised to offer you financial services. We are also registered with the D.P.R (Data Protection) and can guarantee your personal details will be safe. We do not pass your information onto any other organisations.

Our company have been helping people to access n-UVB phototherapy in their own homes since 1996. Even though our business has moved on to an e-commerce platform, we recognise that most of our customers value the personal service that buying on the internet lacks. We also recognise that many of our customers value our experience and look to us for advice.

  My son had a really bad flare up of discoid psoriasis. He was covered head to foot, even his face, with awful red scaly patches. He normally wears shorts all year round but the flare up was so bad he took to wearing jeans and long sleeve tops, but he couldn't disguise the patches on his face. He became really self-conscious and apart from going to work he began staying at home. So I went online, did some research, and found MBS. I bought the full body unit and the improvement in my son's psoriasis was amazing, and quite quick too. It's a wonderful piece of equipment and worth every penny.   Excellent handheld UVB device that has completely cleared sons psoriasis on elbows, legs & arms. He used consistently for just two weeks then was able to drop it down to occasional use... skin soft & healed by 2 months.   I have used the UVB light therapy device since Nov 25. I had suffered from heredity psoriasis on my back and base of my scalp for over a year. The patch on my back has completely healed after less than 2 months of using the device. The psoriasis on my scalp, although hasn't completely gone, the   itchiness has reduced significantly.   My rental of a UVB Narrow-Band Canopy from MBS  (Much Better Skin), came to an end today and to say that I am delighted with the results is an understatement! I genuinely couldn’t be more pleased and grateful.

Correct usage of the machine was fully explained by Roy, a super lovely gentleman who dropped it off. Having followed his instructions and guidance, I am as good as ‘psoriasis free’.

I cannot commend this company enough and wouldn’t hesitate to 100% recommend them.
They are reliable, knowledgeable and extremely professional in all aspects of the service they offer.
Delivery, set-up and collection was seamless and the standard of customer service throughout the rental period, was nothing short of outstanding.

I went from covered full body using steroids making my condition worse to being as clear, close to as it being gone as it can be.   I suddenly got psoriasis 3 years due to stress, I have it all over my body and scalp which is the worst part. I was initially prescribed steroids for two years but these thin the skin and once you stop using them it comes back with a vengeance!! The steroids were hard to wash out from the scalp and it was very difficult to manage. I was referred for phototherapy in march 2025 and still waiting for an appointment to start therapy. My mum did some research for me and found Bristol skin matters where you could hire a machine (the same one they use at the hospital) but I live in Manchester and that’s when I was introduced to MBS. I had an initial phone call with Roy and explained I had psoriasis he was so lovely and booked me in the following week and dropped off the machine. The machine is like stand up sun bed he assembled the machine left me goggles and explained how to use and the dosage. Roy has been so lovely throughout, answered any queries I had. The treatment itself has worked amazingly it takes around 3 weeks for your body to get used to the light then after using every other day slowly increasing the timings I started to see results and my psoriasis fading into white spots. After 6 weeks of full body treatment I decided to get the comb scalp machine as the full body didn’t target my scalp as much. I’ve been using the comb light therapy on my body since I only have a few patches now, it’s so much more convenient doing this at home in your own time as you literally use the machine for 20/30 secs at the start. When you referred to a hospital you have to go several times a week travel there and back which sounds time consuming. Taking matters into my own hands was the best decision, it’s definitely worth the investment!! A massive thank you to Roy at MBS ☺️

  We have nothing but high praise for MBS Phototherapy and can highly recommend them! Our 20 something daughter has been living with various forms of Psoriasis for over 10 years. Tried many treatment options, but unfortunately only light therapy seemed to hold the worst outbreaks at bay. Having had 2 courses of light therapy via the NHS, within a few weeks after completion, her Psoriasis returned. We decided to do our own research into the Phototherapy Units and finally came across MBS. Having read the wonderful reviews we called and spoke to the very helpful Roy. He answered all our questions with complete honesty and expert knowledge and guided us towards our choice of UVB Phototherapy unit. The delivery and set up process was carried out by Roy, along with a thorough explanation and demonstration. Also follow up calls to check in on us. Knowing expert help is just at the end of a telephone line is incredibly reassuring!
The results have been amazing and it has been life changing for our daughter! She sees it as an investment in her health moving forward in life.   I am 61 and suffered with psoriasis all my adult life. The word suffering relates to both the condition itself, and the medical interventions, mainly the nightly grind of applying ointments with  no long lasting benefit, and (many years ago) PUVA that did help but impractical as hospital visits required and a tablet that made me feel sick most the day. I have generally just put up with it over the years, but when it recently became more of an issue than it had been for a number of years I looked to see what was available. As soon as I found the MBS website I felt they had empathy for the condition and was confident they could help. This was reinforced further after a chat with Roy and I was happy to order a 9 tube narrowband unit and within 6 - 8 weeks my psoriasis cleared completely, and has remained so in the 8 weeks since I stopped using it. I know it will return, but before it becomes an issue I can just resume treatment, in my own home, with no inconvenience whatsoever. Thanks to MBS I no longer regard myself as a psoriasis 'sufferer'.
